RECAP THE CONCEPTS
Properties of light:
Light travels in straight lines.
Light can be reflected off some objects.
Light can be blocked. A shadow is formed when light is completely or partially blocked by an object.
3 ways to increase the size of a shadow when an object is placed in between the light source and a screen:
Move the light source nearer to the object.
Move the object nearer to the light source.
Move the screen further away from the object.
Different degree of transparency:
Transparent objects allow all or most light to pass through.
Translucent objects only allow some light to pass through.
