Ace loves playing football but he has mild anhidrosis. Anhidrosis is a medical condition in which a person cannot perspire normally. Perspiration produces sweat on the skin and helps to regulate the temperature of the body. Because of this condition, Ace cannot play too football for too long.

Answer:

His body will increase during vigorous activities. This is because the excess heat generated by the body during exercise cannot be lost to sweat.


c) After a moderate game of soccer, Ace stood under a fan to cool himself down.
Explain why wind can help a person to cool down.

Answer:

Heat flows from a place to a colder place. The wind carries air which is at oC. His body, which is at oC, will lose heat to the air. After the air gains heat from the body, the wind away the warm air and replaces it with cooler air.
