Ace and Bob went to country X for a holiday in December, while Churros stayed in Singapore. Ace sent a photo to Churros and messaged: “Guess where we are?”
(Before he left Singapore, Ace had told Churros that he would either travel to Iceland or Malaysia.)

Answer:

The weather in Country X is cold. There was mist appearing outside Ace’s mouth when he spoke. The warm from Ace’s breath to the surrounding air and into tiny that appeared as mist.
There would not be any mist if Ace was in a warm climate like Malaysia.


c) The photo that Churros sent showed some mist forming on his lenses after he had alighted from an air-conditioned bus. After 1 minutes, the lenses became clear again. Why did this happen?

Answer:

When Churros came out of the cold bus into a warmer environment, the surface of his lenses were still cold. The water vapour in the air lost heat to the cooler surface of his lenses and condensed into tiny water droplets.
