Answer 1

Fill in the blanks with the keywords provided below.
[transferred] • [converted] • [kinetic] • [heat] • [gravitational potential] • [chemical potential] • [elastic potential] • [sound]

a) State the energy conversions that occur from A to C.

Answer:

energy ==> kinetic energy ==> energy ==> kinetic energy

b) Explain, in terms of energy conversions that occur from C to E, why Ace will eventually come to a stop.

Answer:

Each time Ace lands on the trampoline, some of his energy will be converted to and energy. Less kinetic energy will be to the trampoline to be to less energy. He will come to a stop when there is no more potential energy in the trampoline to convert back to kinetic energy.
